My parts areon many of the Peterbilt, Freightliner, Mack, Kenworth, International, or Volvo trucks you see on the road today. And my personal frustration with automotive OEM horns has led me to start Safe Vehicle Products,to bring commercial, heavy-duty quality air horns to the automotive aftermarket. These Arent Toys!!! If youre like a lot of people out there, you probably already tried to upgrade to the inexpensive red plastic air horns. Theyve got two problems: 1.) They dont last & 2.) Theirsound has absolutely no authority. Give up on those cheap toys and come on over to the Loud Side. Our horns are longer (the longer bells give you a lower, more authoritative tone than some similar looking horns,) metal, made with three chromed brass bells, and deafeningly loud. When testing your SVP horn we strongly recommend hearing protectors. And dont "prank" people with these things too (sneak up on them and sound your horn to startle them.) You can cause a wreck/hurt their hearing/cause a heart attack, etc. These arent toys. A Beautiful Chrome Finish... Our SVP P/N LT3Z features a beautiful all chrome finish, with chrome solenoid. Thehornmeasures 15-5/8" long x 11" wide x 11-1/2" tall, with heavy duty cast zinc bells and a stamped steel bracket. Included is the horn, mounting hardware, a mounting angle bracket and manifold assembly, and a 12/24 volt solenoid (already attached.)All metal/Mounts great on cab guards, sideways under the hood (in front of the radiator,) or underneath your truck in the rear in place of the spare tire. So How Loud Is It? Painfully loud. Have you noticed how everyone else on Ebay claims their train horns achieve 152db?And that they do it with only a 110 psi compressor? Geeeeez. How do they do it? Easy: They lie like drunken congressmen, and count on you not having a decibel meter. They also dont specify how far from the bell the microphone is. If yousubstitute a higher PSI compressor, add a larger diameter air hose and fittings, and a solenoid with a larger orifice youll get more decibels out of your horn, but in reality, you wont hit 152db. Period. With our horns you can easily hit 130db using 110psi. Thats two and a half times as loud as your OEM horn. A jet taking off at 60 meters is only 120db, so trust us, 130db will get every. ones attention. A Combination Air Tank and Compressor... Our TC3L is a 3 liter (approximately .8 gallon) combination air tank and compressor. This already has attacheda pressure switch (cuts in at 85 PSI, and out at 110) and an air gauge. It measures 15-3/4" long x 5-1/8" wide x 6-3/4" high. It also includes 10 of 1/4" ID tubing, a 1/4" male connector fitting, mounting hardware, and a 15 amp fuse and fuseholder. The TC3L is not reccomended for mounting in exposed areas (under the vehicle for instance.) Its best mounted inside the trunk, tool box, etc. 12 Volt.You can also use it as an on-board air system to fill tires, air mattresses, or other inflatable items. Plus Wiring & Horn Button Kit...
